Rural, design led hideaway for 2 with hot tub

The Potting Shed - This off grid design led hideaway is the perfect romantic getaway for nature lovers. Quirky interiors gleaming with vintage finds, recycled materials and rustic , rural charm in a botanical colour palette. A short walk through our meadow, passing our miniature ponies, takes you to the orchard and veggie plot where you are invited to sample our seasonal fruits, herbs and vegetables. Embracing the outdoors but still providing modern luxuries and practical conveniences. The space A little of my heart and soul has gone into creating The Potting Shed. I am passionate about growing fruit, flowers and veg and our little orchard is where we decided to site the cabin. You are very welcome to sample and cook with any of the herbs, vegetables and fruits that are in season during your stay. It is an open plan layout with a very comfortable king size bed, two seater sofa and chair, dining table and fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and gas cooker and oven . There is a lovely bathroom with shower and toilet. Embracing the outdoors without skimping the modern luxuries and practical conveniences providing a peaceful place amongst flowers, vegetables, herbs, (and rabbits) to relax and switch off. Watch the sun rise from your bed or sit outside spotting wildlife and enjoying the views. (We get some great moon rises too) In the evening, we are usually blessed with dark skies so enjoy stargazing from the hot tub or toasting marshmallows over the fire pit . We have very friendly sheep who enjoy biscuits and two very tiny miniature horses. We are completely off grid and eco friendly. Most of the materials and furnishings have been recycled or repurposed, recycled loo paper and chemical free loo, solar power, use eco friendly cleaning products . During dry weather you can park next to the cabin . Otherwise we have a parking area and you take a short walk (200 yards) through our meadow to the cabin. Guest access The whole cabin is for your sole use , there are no other properties/ guests on site Other things to note This is a rural location and generally very very quiet. At certain times of the year there may be tractors working in the adjacent fields i.e. harvest time, ploughing et cetera but this is not very often.
