Private Cottage in Cathedral District

Our cozy, 1920's home is located in the Cathedral district in Joliet. 3 minutes away from the Haley Mansion and 6 minutes away from the Jacob Henry Mansion. You get the whole main floor for yourself and your guest(s) with your own entrance through the front door that has a keypad door lock. I, along with my two mini dachshund puppies, stay in the basement. We have our own entrance through the back. You can park right outside on the street. So there is plenty of parking. The space We furnished our home with the goal of it feeling cozy yet light and airy. In the evening, you can snuggle up with soft blankets while relaxing to the fireplace cracking in the living room. The coffee table in the living room lifts up making it super convenient to set your laptop and use it as a workstation. And of course, our mattresses and pillows are super comfy just like I would have if it was my bedroom. The kitchen comes stocked with coffee and tea. Since this is a 1920s home there is no central air conditioning. There are windows units in the bedrooms that keep those rooms very cool. Guest access Park in the front of the house on the street. It's a quiet neighborhood with lots of available street parking. Other things to note Please read the following house rules carefully: 1. There are no parties or gatherings allowed on this property. 2. All guests must be listed on the booking. 3. Only listed guests may enter the property. 4. Leave all shoes at the entrance(s). 5. NO SMOKING in the house or near open windows or doors. 6. Follow all check-in and check-out instructions. 7. Breaking any of these rules may incur additional fees. If you're bringing a pet with you: 1. All dogs must be listed on the booking. 2. Please no dogs on the furniture. 3. Dogs must be house-trained. 4. The yard is not fenced so we highly recommend keeping them leashed while outside. 5. Sorry, no other pets allowed!
