Thank you for considering our guesthouse for your stay. More than just a rental, this property is our personal creative space and art-filled retreat. Much of the wood furniture, paintings, wall décor, crochet pieces, handmade details, and interior styling throughout the cottage were handcrafted by us, we truly enjoy sharing it with guests who appreciate unique spaces and thoughtful details. Inside the cottage, you’ll find handcrafted furniture, original artwork, cozy lighting, books, games, puzzles, a keyboard piano, guitar and little “Easter egg” surprises throughout the home designed to make your stay playful, memorable, and relaxing. A few helpful things to know before your arrival: *KITCHENETTE • The kitchenette is designed for "Light Cooking" and includes an air fryer/oven, Instant Pot, toaster, coffee station, mini fridge, kettle, electric frying pot, and outdoor charcoal grill. • Complimentary bottled water and snacks are provided for your stay. • There is no washer and dryer inside the cottage, though laundromats are available nearby. Because we are surrounded by nature and state parks, wildlife is part of the experience here. You may occasionally encounter deer, owls, frogs, insects, snakes, foxes, coyotes, bobcats, or other woodland creatures. We kindly ask guests to remain mindful and aware when outdoors and avoid entering wooded areas unnecessarily. Our small rural town is quiet and authentic. Depending on the season or time of day, you may hear owls, crickets, dogs, distant farm equipment, or other sounds of country life. You may also be greeted by our friendly outdoor cat who occasionally visits around the property. Most importantly, we hope this space gives you time to rest. Thank you again for choosing our cottage.
