The Deercabin (boat, pier & sauna by the lake)

Welcome to the Deercabin, your relaxing lakeside retreat. Experience this modern cabin with a private dock, sauna, and rowing boat – perfect for a peaceful stay in nature. With a bit of luck, you may spot deer roaming nearby or catch a fish in the lake. The cabin is fully equipped for comfortable year-round living, with air conditioning and modern amenities. Smaller grocery stores are located about 15 minutes away, and the cities of Norrköping and Örebro can be reached within an hour by car. The space - Fishing in Ålsjön is possible with a fishing permit – don't forget your fishing rods! - A charcoal grill is available for use; please bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. - Dish soap and dishwasher tablets are provided; other consumables (e.g. toilet paper, soap, candles) are brought by the guest - Pillows and duvets are provided. Guests bring their own bed linen (sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases) and towels Bedroom 1: Double bed (180 cm) Bedroom 2: Bunk bed (120 cm lower + 80 cm upper) Living room: Sofa bed The cabin is located in a quiet holiday home area close to nature and neighbors. You may encounter wildlife and insects – a natural part of the experience. This is our private holiday home, which we use ourselves, and we kindly ask guests to treat it with care and respect. Guest access Access to the entire property (excluding storage sheds). Only 30 meters from the property lies Lake Ålsjön, with a private dock in a sunny location from earl lunch to evening – perfect for morning coffee, swimming, or relaxing by the water. The water by the dock is shallow, making it calm and safe. A child-friendly public swimming area with deeper water is just a 5-minute walk away. Please note: The fireplace is not in use for safety reasons. Internet and TV: - Mobile coverage may be limited (the provider TRE works perfect). TV has no channels – connect your own device via HDMI for streaming. Other things to note The house has a closed water tank system, which means that we appreciate careful water usage during your stay: - Normal usage (e.g. one shower per person / per day) works well - The property is not suitable for frequent showering (multiple times per day / per person or repeated sauna showers) From October to March, an additional fee of 429 SEK applies for waste collection. Pets are not allowed. Cleaning is included 🌲
