All Inclusive Maasai Experience

Experience Maasai culture in our cosy, private huts between Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks. We are 2.5-3 hours from Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Each hut is a unique representation of different Maasai clan's decor, offering you an authentic glimpse into Maasai traditions. Inside, you will find comfortable beds and en-suite facilities. Your stay includes all meals and activities, and your contribution goes a long way in supporting the local community, school and various projects. The space Karibu! Each of our huts are crafted in the traditional Maasai style, but with modern comforts such as comfortable beds, electricity and bathrooms with running water (cold), showers, and flushing toilets. Hot water can be made available on request. Strong wifi is available in the shared dining area as well as chairs, tables and couches to sit. During your stay with us, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Maasai culture, participating in activities which will give you the chance to learn more about our community and way of life. These activities include participating in a village walk and seeing inside the traditional Maasai huts in our village, checking out beadwork with the mamas, exploring our permaculture garden, visiting the on-site school, engaging in a walk with the warriors to explore the local plants, learn how to make a fire and throw a spear like a warrior, and many more! Maasai Eco Boma is also a beautiful place to come to relax, disconnect from the rush of life at home, and experience a pole pole (slow) way of life. Maasai Eco Boma is ideally situated, with Arusha Airport only one hour away, and Kilimanjaro Airport two hours away. A transfer can be arranged for you at an additional price. We can also help connect you to local safari companies that will pick you up here at Maasai Eco Boma. Your stay at the boma includes all meals and activities while you are here. The fees directly contribute to supporting Nashipay Pre and Primary school which is housed on our adjoining property. Our school supports over 400 children, many from impoverished homes. The rooms at Maasai Eco Boma allow us to continue to help children break out of the cycle of poverty and prepare them for secondary school, college and the future. Guest access Your individual hut is for you to enjoy alone and with your traveling companions. We have one family room available which is two huts with their own entrance, and an adjoining corridor. Free parking is available on-site. We provide all meals and and welcome you to become a part of our family while exploring our village and enjoying our small piece of paradise. Drinks can be purchased at an additional cost in our dining area. Other things to note Every stay at Maasai Eco Boma is greatly appreciated by our community. We are firm believers that opportunities for our children come from education. In order to provide the Maasai children with this education, we need to create a sustainable income. That is where Maasai Eco Boma was created, and it continues to serve as an income for the school and the community members who work at it. Our community is very proud of the boma, and look forward to welcoming new guests to explore, learn and rest.
