Take a break and unwind at this peaceful secluded OFF GRID cabin. Great place for those seeking alone time and wanting to breath slowly to "the rhythm of nature". Maximum 2 person. OFF GRID = NO electricity, NO running water. There is an indoor wood stove for those chilly nights and an outdoor firepit for evening pleasure under the stars. A solar panel for lighting. Knowing how to use a wood stove is mandatory. We supply fresh water for drinking and washing. Sorry, no children and no pets. The space The cabin was built is 2019. It is located on the same 33 acreage as my home and is 464 square feet. People seeking solitude, nature, and tranquility will enjoy this cabin. The cabin is half a km from the main road. Other things to note PLEASE READ** Our cabin is currently considered OFF-GRID. This means: Our cabin has a solar panel for lighting ONLY. No power for fridge, stove, hair dryer or other - just solar for lights. No shower/ No bath. For one evening we supply 1x 7 gallons plus 1 big jug of fresh water. For 2 or more evenings we supply 2x 7 gallons plus 1 big jug of freah water for drinking and washing. Although the property does not offer Wi-Fi, we do provide a serene and disconnected environment for you to fully immerse yourself in nature. Our cabin is fully equipped to provide you with all the basic necessities for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Included are beddings, towels, and cooking utensils. A outside griddle is also available from april to november. For some indoor fun, we offer a selection of games such as playing cards, skip-bo, wood puzzles, mandala coloring, pick-up stick, etc... Bring your cooler with ice. Bring your paper towels. You are in the wild so please do not leave your food outside as you might have visitors. No smoking / No vaping Evening fires in the outside firepit is permitted but we need to verify everyday with the department of naturel ressources for burning conditions for safety. Wood is included for the indoor wood stove. Wood for the outdoor firepit is $5.00 a bundle. It can be hot in the summer time at the camp depending on the temperature. Flashlights available in the camp. It is a 15 minute drive to: Youghall Beach, Gowan Brae golfing, Micmac hiking trails. The ATV trails are about 2 kms from the camp.
