Grab a book, drink of choice and sit on your private deck surrounded by forest. Head to the common area after your day filled with adventure and unwind in our cedar tub. Swap stories around the fire pit while making s'mores with Alaskan mountains in the background. Awake with a complimentary hot breakfast and locally roasted coffee. The space Our Matanuska Tent is one of 7 tents on the property. It does not have heat or electricity but we provide plenty of bedding to keep you toasty at night. Charging station is found at our common area for your personal electronics. Parking is located a short walk from the tent as well as our shared spaces and amenities. Our property sits on 12 acres over looking the Matanuska Glacier. Amazing views from our common area make it perfect to hang out for the evening, play some corn hole, and roast marshmallows at the fire pit. Tent has a private deck with chairs to enjoy some alone time as well. We have a shared bathroom with flushing toilets and a shower house close to our hot tub. Hot tub is open in the evenings for guests to use with a sign up sheet. Guest access You are welcome to hang out at our common area where breakfast is served in the morning and our games and fire pit are located. Showers are open 24/7 and located next to the hot tub. Our hot tub is only open during the evening with a sign up sheet for private soaks. Flushing toilets are at the parking lot and a short walk from the tent. Other roads and buildings are staff only. Other things to note No cooking. For health codes we cannot allow guests to use our kitchen. Guests can bring items that don't need cooked like cheese boards and sandwiches. We don't allow cooking outside for wildlife safety. There are a few restaurants near by that most of our guests go to for dinner.
