The space Reconnect, Relax, and Recharge in this Serene Forest Retreat Nestled on six peaceful acres among towering pines, this cozy cottage offers the perfect getaway for families and friends seeking tranquility. Tucked away on a semi-private road, it’s an ideal spot to unwind and immerse yourself in nature. The cedar-shingled exterior is charmingly accented with a pink granite path and a native garden, welcoming you to your home away from home. Enjoy two inviting outdoor spaces: a deck with comfortable lounge furniture perfect for stargazing, and a dining area under a pergola where you will savor meals al fresco. Step inside through the sunlit mudroom and discover the spacious, open-concept first floor. The central living area flows into the dining space and fully equipped kitchen, creating an ideal setting for shared meals and cozy gatherings. A thoughtfully designed staircase separates the living area from a full bathroom featuring a bathtub. The second floor provides both comfort and functionality. At the top of the stairs, you’ll find a bright and cozy workspace. The two bedrooms are equally sized and designed with your needs in mind. The “Kids Room” features two twin beds with trundles, which can be converted into a king-sized bed upon request—perfect for accommodating adult couples. The “Primary” bedroom includes a queen-size bed and a rollaway crib, also available upon request. Both bedrooms share access to a second full bathroom, complete with a washer and dryer for your convenience. Important Note: This home does not include a TV— an intentional choice to foster connection and quality time with loved ones. However, high-speed fiber-optic internet is available, giving you the flexibility to stay connected or unplug entirely, depending on your preference. Whether you’re soaking up the silence, exploring the outdoors, or enjoying quality time with family and friends, this serene retreat offers everything you need to relax and recharge. Guest access Guests receive full access to the home and meadow/garden. The only areas off limits are the locked closets and the shed. Guests are also welcome to use any recreational items provided. The property is used by your hosts, James and Olivia as their summer residence when it is not rented out. This is a home and not an investment property, so please treat it with care as our guests! Other things to note Sadly, while we used to offer access to our private dock/beach, the HOA no longer allows rental guests to use it. We do not allow fireworks at the property and will impose a $500 penalty for breaking this rule. There are children and pets nearby who will be very traumatized by the sound of fireworks going off. The property has two outdoor security cameras, which are pointed at the entrances to the property. They are both within view and are not directed towards the home to ensure your privacy.
