Description
Perfect farmstay for anyone looking to unwind and relax on a 15acre tropical flowers and fruit farm. Overnight on your travels at a peaceful location away from traffic and noise. Accommodation comprises of 2 bedrooms on the ground level of an older style country home. Both bedrooms have their own lounge area and share a bathroom. Breakfast will be provided, complimented with seasonal fruit from the farm. Enjoy a barbeque in the outdoor area or cook a delicious meal in a communal kitchen. The space Accommodation is on the ground floor of a 2 story Queenslander home. The 15 acre property is bordered by a permanent creek. The majority of the property is under cultivation with tropical flowers and tropical fruit, predominately bananas, passionfruit and papayas. Several rare tropical fruits are also grown. Guests have access to a communal kitchen and dining area which is separate to the main house. A large range of electrical appliances available and a modern gas stove. Guests have access to the farm area but restricted access to the banana plantation due to biosecurity risk. Guest access Guests have access to the communal kitchen located in an area close by the accommodation. Guests can take a walk around the farm except the banana plantation. This is due to biosecurity reasons. Other things to note We are located about 10 mins from Sarina. The last 500metres is an unsealed road but is a hard surface. There are small farms adjoining which stock a few head of cattle. Predominantly, it is a cane growing area. Sarina has 2 supermarkets where supplies can be purchased, 4 coffee shops but these are open only during the day. There is a fish and chips shop, pizza, subway and a couple of local hotels which offer evening meals. The local motel offers evening meals, either sit in or takeaway.
