The open upper deck is perfect for sunbathing in warmer months, stargazing on clear nights, or simply enjoying peaceful lake views. The lower covered deck features a propane grill and outdoor dining area, ideal for lakeside meals in any weather. Inside, the upper level offers a king-size bed with a 43" Smart TV, while the main living area includes a full-size sleeper sofa and a 70" Smart TV for added comfort. Two full bathrooms with walk-in showers provide convenience for guests. Seasonal climate control includes window AC units for summer (removed during cooler months), electric baseboard heating, and an additional electric heater for winter stays. The kitchen is equipped with an under-counter fridge/freezer, air fryer, microwave, toaster, blender, and countertop ice machine. Coffee lovers will appreciate the variety of brewing options: a 4-cup drip machine, single-serve Keurig-style brewer, and a 27oz French Press. A full serving set for four is provided, along with coffee mugs, wine, martini, and champagne glasses. Linens, pillows, and bath towels are included, though guests are welcome to bring their own. An initial supply of toilet paper, hand soap, and dish soap is provided; toiletries are not included. Conveniently located just 15 miles from Elk Mountain Ski Resort and 1.4 miles from Longacre Farm Weddings, this cabin offers a peaceful setting with easy access to local attractions. Whether you're here for a romantic getaway, a family visit, or a quiet escape, Butler Lake is ready to welcome you. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire cabin, along with a range of outdoor amenities designed to enhance their stay. Enjoy the fire pit with complimentary firewood (In the ring only), a private dock, and seasonal lake activities. - Intimate events during the day for up to 12 people. Must discuss and get prior approval before booking. (Sleeping for 4 maximum) Weather permitting - available equipment includes a 12’ aluminum rowboat, pedal boat, kayaks, blow-up floats and outdoor games. Life jackets are provided, though guests are welcome to bring their own, along with personal watercraft such as kayaks, canoes, or electric trolling motors (recommended at 6hp or less; gas-powered motors are not permitted). Please note that use of the lake and dock is at your own risk. Guests are advised to take appropriate safety precautions when near or on the water. During winter months, ice fishing is a popular local activity. If snow is present, we recommend arriving in an SUV or AWD vehicle, as the privately maintained road leading to the cabin may not be plowed immediately. Other things to note 🏡 House Rules for Your Stay at Butler Lake Cabin Road Access & Safety • The cabin is located near the end of a private half-mile road shared with approximately nine seasonal cabins. • While the area is generally quiet, neighboring cabins may be occupied during your stay. • For everyone’s safety, please observe the strict speed limit of 10 mph or less on the access road. - Maximum of 4 Guests Smoking, Vaping and wax candles • Smoking, vaping and the burning of wax candles are not permitted inside the cabin or on the decks. • Guests may smoke near the outdoor fire pit only. • Please dispose of cigarette butts in the fire pit, not on the ground or in indoor trash bins. • A $250 odor removal fee will be charged if smoke or vape is detected indoors. Pets • No pets are allowed, including service animals, due to severe allergy concerns for future guests. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for all. Fireplace & Heating • The living room features an electric fireplace for ambiance and supplemental heat. • The indoor wood stove is not available for guest use. • Seasonal heating and cooling are provided via electric baseboard heaters and window AC units (AC units are removed during cooler months). Cleaning & Care • No cleaning fee has been added to your reservation. • To help keep costs down for all guests, please clean up after yourselves • Excessive cleaning may result in a $160 additional fee. Damages & Fees • Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.
