Nice accommodation perfect as a base for hiking
Description
The house is close to everything. You can reach the ferry, the helicopter pad, the island's nice grocery store & local pub within a 20-minute walk . But above all, you have a great starting point for fantastic hikes & awesome northern lights. We have owned the house for five years and been here in periods, but in 2024 we moved here. It's for working with adventure and B&B, all year round. So are you here to hike , swim and want nice tips - just ask. We have three 3 rooms for rent. One single room & two double rooms. Welcome🥾🇳🇴⛰️😍 The space We will open the B&B next summer, so here you are really warmly welcome to feel at home. You share the bathroom and kitchen with the host. The host works with adventures in the area and if you want to get tips and tricks on how you can really hike here, you are always welcome to ask! The house is a very charming turn-of-the-century house in a simple style from the early 1900s, with only two previous owners and still traditional with its stone roof. We think it's very cozy and many think it's similar to a Pippis, famous Vila villakulla. We run heat pump with air conditioning if needed in high summer heat. Downstairs there is a large renovated kitchen you can use and a fridge for goods . There is also a lunch table. The living room serves as a dinner“salon” and has an open floor plan with a living room/community room. There's also a cozy read and rest room with two armchairs that are also the perfect place for spotting on the northern lights. The house at the moment only has a smaller toilet downstairs and a larger bathroom upstairs. Downstairs host lives in private room. The guest rooms are on the second floor. Large garden, where there is a nice space for breakfast and dinners and here you also get access to the barbecue and a smoke. At the front, in the summer there are three large hammocks to take nice powernapps or just read for a while. Just borrow freely. There is also access to fishing equipment ( SEK 100 per day )and tips on fishing in high and low tide . There is a great chance for fine food fish (Self cost on drag ). Do you feel a little unsure about Lofoten's awesome hike with always close to the cliff or want to get the island's self and stories or really need to take advantage of the time to maximize the experience. How we already offer guided hikes. As a host, I want you to be able to be here all year round and have it and work well with the ferry traffic, therefore I have very generous check-in and check-out times throughout the Norwegian period and for SEK 150/person extra you can use the entire ground floor, even until the late ferry at 10:30 pm during the summer. Guest access You have access to the entire villa except for the host's private room. I also share the kitchen, bath and toilet, but otherwise I am mostly out or in the room. In high season, there is a good chance that additional island adventurers will rent rooms If you take a late ferry from the island, you can also use the house's kitchen, lounge and toilet after check-out and we already have the island's most generous check-in and check-out times during the Norwegian period. During your stay I am out a lot but am there for your any questions or with tips and tricks about Værøy , at least every morning and evening. In the evenings during the peak season, the atmosphere is usually very relaxed and you often toast the day's hikes with a smile together. I offer guided tours in another assignment (nice day trips 80 euros) and if you want to come along there or book your own hike, that's fine. If you're traveling alone and want some board game company, just ask. Other things to note Here, there is midnight sun and a house with a lot of light, so we recommend bringing your own sleeping mask even if the room has blinds. If you come as a single guest and stay several days, we can take in additional bookings. As a guest with us, you also have 20% off the island's bike rental. In the Northern Lights season, we have large windows in 360 degrees and a perfect location for a comfortable viewing of the northern lights.
