Welcome to our cosy and charming apartment in the picturesque village of Kinghorn. Nestled near the coast, our apartment offers the perfect getaway for beach lovers and nature enthusiasts alike. The interior is cosy and homely, a great place to return after a day of site seeing. Fife has all sorts of interesting little pockets to explore the coast and inland – fantastic history, ancient walking routes, rich farmland, and characterful villages. Edinburgh is an easy visit – The train runs half hourly and takes 40 minutes. You can spend the day in the city and return for a peaceful walk on the beach at dusk! Dundee is also a great visit, with the new V&A and other fab art venues…its also 45mintures away by train. Strike out in the direction of St. Andrews, the home of golf! And you can visit quaint fishing villages and fascinating harbours and nostalgic ice cream shops. Other favourite day trips within easy reach are Jupiter Artland and the Maid of the Forth boat trip to Inchcolm Island. The fife coastal path is a long waking route which passes through Kinghorn. Active visitors can find many walks, runs and bokes nearby – you can almost go all the way to Edinburgh off-road. The ecology centre is a local Lochside nature reserve just 15 minutes’ walk away. Were 3 miles from Burntisland with its thriving high street – coffee shops, fruit & veg shops, fish shop & artisan bakery. Kirkcaldy is our nearest large town for mainstream shopping supermarket and local art museums.
