Enchanted Alta: Sierra Retreat Cabin on 20 Acres

Welcome to our place, the Enchanted Alta Cabin, a serene mountain retreat in the Sierra Nevada mountains near Blue Canyon/Emigrant Gap. This 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath cabin sits on a 20-acre property with on property natural trails and modern amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen and board games. Located 30 minutes from Sugar Bowl, 50 minutes from North Lake Tahoe, and an hour from Reno, it's perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. You'll have full access to the cabin and the 20 acre property. The space This cabin is the perfect getaway for all seasons! The dual-zone air conditioning and heating make both summer and winter stays comfortable, while the fireplace, complete with provided oak wood, adds a cozy atmosphere during the winter. Bedrooms: - Three bedrooms total. - The master bedroom, with an attached bathroom, is located downstairs. - The remaining two bedrooms are upstairs and share a full bathroom. - Each bedroom has its own closet. Bathrooms: - One full bathroom upstairs. - One half-bath is located downstairs, next to the living room. Living Spaces: There are two TVs: one in the living room and one in the master bedroom. Location: The house is situated in a remote area with abundant wildlife, often close by. Please exercise caution all the time if you are going on a trail. The home is part of a close-knit community of a few dozen residences, known for its strong focus on safety, including fire protection, with a very friendly atmosphere. Please do not smoke nor vape (inside or outside) and refrain from lighting fires anywhere except in the designated fire pit area. We take this very seriously due to the high fire risk in the area during summer/fall season. One of our neighbors handles snow clearing during the winter. Please note that during winter storms, clearing the community road is managed by the community and is beyond our control. Universal EV Charging. Guest access You'll have full access to the cabin and the 20 acre property. The only areas off-limits are the storage container near water pump house, storage room above the garage and the garage itself, both of which are locked and used for the owner's storage. Other things to note Embrace the Outdoors: Wildlife and Cabin Details Please note that our family cabin is located in a wild, outdoor environment. The cabin sits on a 20-acre lot, where we have observed a variety of wildlife as it is non-urban setting. We do regular pest control in and around the house to kept it clean for our guests. We want to ensure all guests are aware and prepared for this unique experience in the wild. Winter Time One of our neighbors handles snow clearing within our property during the winter. Please note that during winter storms, main road clearing is managed by the community and is beyond our control. Snow accumulation can reach heights of 5 to 8 feet, and with that much snow, the area transforms into a surreal winter wonderland.
