This is a beautiful, historic house in a twenty acre private cloud forest preserve in the heart of Monteverde. With abundant natural light, french doors, and elegant finishings, this is truly one of the best properties in the area. You will have a large bedroom with bathroom, a large kitchen, living room and an expansive 70m2 terrace. All with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the Nicoya Peninsula. Extremely quiet and private, yet minutes away from main attractions. The Villa is composed of a large bedroom, living room, kitchen, ample terraces and vast gardens. There is a desk area with a desk lamp, and WIFI is 20 mgps, fiber optic, so it is great for remote workers! I am very happy to provide as much support and guidance during your stay in Monteverde as you would like. I am frequently out of the country, but will be available through messages or phone. The house is a 5 minute walk to Hotel Belmar, which has one of the best farm to table restaurants in town, a great cocktail bar, a craft brewery, as well as a yoga studio and other services. You will also be 10-15 minute drive to the main town of Santa Elena. It is really one of the best areas to be in while in Monteverde, as it is very quiet and pristine, yet close to amenities. There are also a few hiking trails that start near the house. Walking is possible to most parts of Monteverde. However, since it is mountainous some people prefer not to. Taxis are very accessible, costing between $4-5 to get to most restaurants, shops, and bars. 1. The fire place unfortunately does not work . 2. The road leading to Monteverde is gravel and so is the road up to the house. I recommend coming in a 4x4 SUV. People have succesfully come in low 2x4 cars, but it is generally more difficult.
