Experience beautiful nature on Sommarøy, an hour's drive from Tromsø. Be comfortable in a large house with kitchen, living room, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Garden and parking space. Your own space. Here you can see the northern lights from the terrace (if the weather allows) and go for walks in all directions. A beautiful place to relax, walk along white beaches or climb small mountains. Walking distance to grocery store, hotel, inn, bus, fishing weather and many things to explore and adventures to join. The space The house is nicely located in the middle of Sommarøy, close to white beaches. Sea, mountain and house views. A little bit more about the area: If you walk from the house further down Sommarøyvegen, you will pass Prestvika and a beautiful white beach, where Gjertrud has a cafe in the boathouse. Further past 69 Grader Nord, which rents out kayaks and bicycles. Further past fishing boats and fishing reception, Matkroken shop, and Havfruen Kro and campsite before crossing the Hillesøy bridge where you can go on a top tour or to Sommarøy Hotel which has all the amenities. It's beautiful everywhere! And a lot you can do in nature. A hike to the top of Hillesøy is highly recommended. If you go the other way from the house, it is 300 meters to Steinvika, where there is camping and public toilet, and where you can rent a lavvo up the slope. If you follow the road back over the Sommarøy Bridge and a little more, it is only 300 meters to walk up to Ørnfløya where there are stunning views of the entire area. Recommended! Otherwise, it is reasonably flat on Sommarøy, and easy to move around, even if you should be bad at walking. Guest access There are three bedrooms on the 2nd floor. Two of the rooms have a double bed and balcony, and one has an extra small sleeping space. Room 1: Double bed (180 cm) + extra sleeping space: (75 cm) Balcony Room 2: Double bed (120 cm) Balcony Room 3: Two single beds (90 cm) The house has two bathrooms, a large living room and kitchen, so there is plenty of space. The living room opens to the terrace, private garden with cute playhouse for children, and views of neighbors, lake and mountains. Other things to note Please be aware of the rare bus connection from Tromsø to Sommarøy. On weekdays, the last bus leaves Tromsø Prostneset at 4:15 pm.
