Description

Quaint Plant Based, Welsh stone cottage situated just outside Snowdonia National Park and close to the beautiful beach of Dinas Dinlle. With lovely views of Moel Eilio (Elephant Mountain) and surrounding countryside, it is perfect for walking and cycling before settling down in front of the log burning stove. The town of Llanberis is close by with kayaking, SUP, cycle hire and busses to take you to Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). It really is perfect to enjoy everything North Wales has to offer. The space Llys Arfon lies on the outskirts of the village of Waunfawr at the edge of the Snowdonia mountain range, in beautiful North Wales. It is close to the outstanding North Wales coastline and the historic town of Caernarfon with its' famous impressive castle. The property comprises cosy lounge area with large stone fireplace and log burning stove, perfect for chillier evenings in front of the fire. There is a well equipped kitchen to one end of the lounge area, with double oven, induction hob, microwave, toaster, small fridge with icebox, kettle, teapot and cafetiere coffee maker. We are plant based so respectfully and politely request that no meat or fish are cooked on the premises. There are a selection of reading books available to borrow. If you don't manage to finish a book, you are welcome to take it and replace with one you have read. There are also books on the local area, walks and maps which are available for you to use, but please return them when you leave. Also downstairs are a small hallway area to hang coats and store shoes and boots, a cosy dining room with low ceiling and a bathroom with shower. Towels are provided but please provide your own beach towels. The bedroom is situated upstairs and is accessed by steep, paddle stairs. A velux window enables you to do a bit of star gazing before falling asleep under the stars. Outside is a small enclosed patio area with table and chairs, ideal for enjoying the afternoon sun with a cold drink. There is also a small garden area to enjoy views of Moel Eilio and surrounding countryside. We welcome one small, well behaved dog to join you on your holiday. Please don't allow your dog on the furniture or upstairs in the bedroom. The garden area is not secure so please keep your dog on a lead and always clean up after your dog. There are complimentary treats for Good Boys and Good Girls. Please bring your dog's bed and bowls with you. The beautiful sandy beach of Dinas Dinlle is 17 minutes drive away if you fancy a day at the beach to enjoy a swim whilst taking in the backdrop of the stunning Yr Eifl (The Rivals) mountain range. Good wifi connection. Check-in is by key safe. Check in from 4.00pm. Check out by 10.00am. Guest access Guests have access to all parts of the cottage and garden area, except for the locked loft area opposite the bedroom. Other things to note We are plant based so respectfully and politely request that no meat or fish are cooked on the premises. There are local pubs and restaurants, and Caernarfon will cater for most culinary tastes. The cottage is not suitable for children . The bedroom is accessed up steep paddle type stairs.
