Unique conversion of an Old Mill
Unique conversion of an Old Mill
Description
This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Tucked away behind the high street guests can enjoy all the high street aspects that Lyndhurst offers. The home is a historical Lyndhurst property that retains a charm. All living space is at the front of the property with the kitchen diner being upstairs. A small snug like sitting room having access to the outside patio is on the ground floor. The bedrooms are spacious and are located at the rear of the property. The space This is a historical home having been the mill grinding flour for the old village bakery. It has also been used as a pharmacy and then became storage for a local antiques business before becoming a residential property. As a conversion it has a unique and quirky feel. It sits at the end of an alleyway running behind Lyndhurst High Street. It is deceptively quiet in this location within the busy village of Lyndhurst. Access to the home is through the courtyard straight into the sitting room. This is a compact space with a corner sofa providing cosy sitting. Sitting in the middle of the home part under the stairs is the bathroom. Newly fitted out with shower with rain shower and separate hand held shower. This home has a fully equipped upstairs kitchen which is light and bright. There is a round dining table and 4 coloured chairs. A dishwasher and large fridge freezer. The upstairs bedroom has a king bed. The downstairs bedroom is a larger room which has zip and link beds. These will be presented as a super king unless the guests have specified wanting the beds to be singles. Guest access Guests have access to the whole property including the courtyard exterior area. Other things to note The home is a converted property which makes it charming but quirky. The sitting room is a small space but it opens out to a lovely courtyard. The downstairs bedroom has a zip and link bed to give maximum sleeping options. Guests need to make clear if they require the bed to be singles as otherwise it will be presented as a super king bed. The stairs are narrow with 2 turns and not suitable for infants or adults with reduced mobility. We provide towels. Car parking is in the car park in the centre of the village. A shoppers parking permit is supplied for guests to use. We do not permit bikes into the house. There is a D ring in the courtyard to chain up any bikes. There is the possibility to use an Asguard bike store for a small extra fee. This should be requested separately.
