The space Belle Of The Bays has 2 levels. You’ll find the living areas, designer kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining areas and 3 bedrooms on level 1. The spacious lounge room leads to a wraparound, north-facing, sun-filled covered deck. It has comfortable deck chairs, a gas BBQ and outdoor dining table and chairs. Be prepared for drop-ins by feathered friends! There’s also a separate area with a day bed for afternoon snoozes in the sun. 😊 The fully appointed designer kitchen includes an Italian espresso machine and grinder, large stove and cooktop, fridge/freezer with filtered water and a crushed and cubed ice maker, Nespresso machine, microwave, cookbooks and a wine fridge. There’s also an additional, private deck off the kitchen/dining area with an outdoor dining table and chairs with bush and water views. Bedroom 1 looks out over the water and has its own recently renovated ensuite. It opens onto a covered deck with outdoor lounges. Bedroom 2 has a bush outlook and water glimpses of the bay. Bedroom 3 looks out directly onto the bush of the Brisbane Water National Park. You’ll also find 3 bathrooms and the laundry upstairs. Bedroom 4 is the main downstairs bedroom. It has an ensuite bathroom and direct access to the heated spa. There’s also a home office area (with desk, computer screen, laptop stand, printer, keyboard, mouse, chair and stationery) for those who want or need to work during their stay. Bedroom 5 has a home cinema space with a large screen TV, comfortable lounges, beanbags, a double sofa bed, a single bunk-bed, a single sofa bed and a single floor mattress, totalling beds for 5 people in all. There are also toys, books, games and puzzles for both kids and adults. We also have 3 memory-foam mattresses that can be set up as single beds in any of the bedrooms. Guest access The whole of the property is yours to enjoy. We’ll try and give you early access and late check-out if possible - we know it makes a difference! 😊 The driveway is quite steep (but sooo worth it for the elevated views!), so you may like to drive elderly guests or small children up to house, and use the internal access door to the house directly from the garage. You can also choose to use the stairs through the beautiful front gardens. We’re always available to help with any issues that may arise, but will otherwise leave you to enjoy all that Belle Of The Bays has to offer. TELESCOPE FOR STAR GAZING For the stargazers, there’s a large telescope that will show you the craters of the moon, the rings around Saturn and the 4 moons of Jupiter. There are astronomy books to guide you too. GROCERY DELIVERIES You can arrange for either Woolies or Coles to deliver groceries directly to the house, to coincide with your arrival time or to be waiting for you at the front door. NEARBY ACTIVITIES We have 2 kayaks ready for your use, fishing rods for fishing in the bay and there there are lots of nearby bush-walks and beach areas to explore that we’ve listed in the Guest Manual at the house. Or just kick back and soak in the sunshine and the wonderful views... TWO KAYAKS FOR YOUR USE! 🛶 The 2 kayaks are located near the water so just need to be pulled in. One is a regular kayak and the other is a fishing kayak. Paddling around the bay including to nearby coves and little beaches at low tide is a great way to get to know the local area! ☺️ OUTSIDE SECURITY CAMERAS The security cameras are for monitoring the outside of the house for security purposes only.
