Firehouse Hostel - Dorm Bed

Welcome to the heart of Austin! The Firehouse is the only hostel in downtown Austin! The building is tucked away just around the corner from historic 6th Street with its legendary nightlife and live music scene. The Firehouse serves as the perfect home-base amid all the action. This listing is for one twin bed in a mixed-gender dorm room (shared with other guests). The space Firehouse Hostel is located in the center of downtown's entertainment district, with bars, restaurants, and nightlife just a stone's throw away. The hostel has a shared kitchen is on the second floor offering a hangout space, a guest fridge, induction burners, microwave and toaster oven. Dishware, cookware, and utensils are provided. Tea and coffee are available throughout the day. The shared dorm rooms have heavy duty bunk beds with storage lockers underneath and outlets, reading lights, and fans next to each bed. Shared men's and women's bathroom facilities are in the hall with private toilet stalls and shower stalls. Towels and linens are provided. Our speakeasy cocktail bar, Firehouse Lounge, features live music and is located through a bookshelf door on the first floor, open until 2:00am daily. Other things to note Quiet hours: 2:00am until 8:00am. Please be aware that we do have a cocktail lounge on the first floor that does play loud music until 2:00 am. Towels and Linens: Towels and linens are provided. No outside bedding is allowed (pillows, blankets, sleeping bags, etc.) Lockers: lockers in dorm rooms are available for free but you must bring your own lock, or you can buy one from us for $10. Our reception desk is open 24/7. You will receive the front door code through an Airbnb message the morning of your arrival around 10:30 am. YOU MUST USE THIS CODE to enter the hostel. If you’re arriving after 3:00 am you must let us know ahead of time or you will be considered a no-show. We do not have parking at the hostel. Street parking is available all over downtown and is paid by the hour during the posted times through the ParkATX app. Overnight garages are also available nearby and cost around $30-$50. Reservations during SXSW and the month of October require a three-night minimum stay. The credit card on file will be charged four weeks prior to SXSW and two weeks prior to October events. No refunds will be given once payment is taken, including but not limited to cancellation of the event itself. Guests will be reminded via email before their credit card is charged. If payment is declined, the guest will be notified immediately and will have two days to contact the hostel before their reservation is automatically canceled. Reservations will be held for 24 hours after arrival date, if not checked in at that point, the reservation will be canceled without refund; no-shows will be charged a $100 fine. All guests must provide a valid government issued photo identification and credit/debit card upon arrival. Texas State ID's must have an address 60 mile radius away from zip code 78701. Residents of Austin will not be allowed to check-in. Third Party payments are not accepted as well. Guests must be 18+ years of age.
