Ferngully Cottage / Hot Tub / Mtn Stream

Nestled in the Mountains of North Georgia next to a Mountain stream with Ferns, Rhododendron and Mountain Laurels, Ferngully Cottage offers you the ability to escape the everyday. Outdoor amenities include hot tub, screened in porch, firepit, charcoal grill and swing. Located in Hiawassee, Georgia we are close to Lake Chatuge for fishing and boating, Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds for festivals and concerts, Helen's Alpine Village, Blue Ridge with its Scenic Railway and shopping and so much more! The space This recently updated, two bedroom, two bath cottage sleeps four comfortably. The main bedroom has a king size bed and the secondary bedroom has a queen size bed. Our bed linens are LuxClub Bamboo Sheets. We provide two pillows per person for both beds. The main bedroom has an attached private bathroom with an oversized glass and tile shower. There is a full hall bath as well. The fully stocked kitchen includes a dishwasher and Keurig Coffee Maker. You have access to the laundry/mudroom space including a washer, dryer, and iron with board, if needed. Robes, if desired, are in this room and the back door to the fire pit and hot tub is located off of this room. The cottage has three flatscreen TV's (one in each bedroom and one in the living room), as well as a DVD player and assorted movies in the living room. WiFi service is the method used for viewing access. You'll want to use your WiFi cell phone connection for better service here in the mountains, as well. For times when you want to disconnect from the rest of the world, we have a selection of classic board games available, as well as, cards, located in the hall cabinet. Outside, you can listen to the tranquil sounds of the mountain stream that runs adjacent to the property while having your morning coffee on the screened-in porch. Enjoy a relaxing soak in your private outdoor hot tub, or an evening chilling around the firepit. We have a charcoal grill so you can cook up the perfect steak. Don't forget to bring a bag of charcoal! There are two locked private closets in the laundry room that are for owners and housekeeping staff. Other things to note We have some starter amenities in place to help you when you first arrive. We have included a few dishwasher pods, dish soap, one roll of paper towels, laundry pods, and trash bags. We provide three rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. There is a coffee bar that is stocked with assorted Keurig K-Cups, Tea Bags, Sugar, Splenda, Stevia and Coffee Mate powdered creamer to get your morning started. The main grocery store is the Ingles in downtown Hiawassee. The address is 94 N Main St. Hiawassee, Ga 30546. They also have gas pumps there for fuel. You may want to stop by there before you arrive to the cottage to get a few things if you are wanting to cook.
