Bring the Family! Entire Home-Host Away on Holiday

Welcome - Bring the whole family! When booking both rooms, you'll find my home is perfect for families. You'll sleep in two adjacent rooms (keep your eye on the kids😉) and have private use of the main bathroom in fact you'll pretty much have run of that half of the house! (**It's highly possible if this listing is open that I will be away for at least part of your stay, meaning you will have the entire house to yourselves. Please enquire when booking.) The space Laid back, easy-going, and relaxed atmosphere. A friendly, welcoming space with a homely vibe! I have been hosting travelers for a while now and strive to ensure my guests have everything they need for a wonderful and relaxing stay and truly feel at home. I have only recently linked my two rooms to enable families to book. By booking both rooms you will pretty much have that whole end of the house to yourselves. The two rooms are adjacent, one with a Queen bed, the other with a Single bed and Trundle underneath. I also have a cot mattress and a couple of single ones, too. Both rooms have secure locks, and the bathroom is right next door. The bathroom contains a spa bath, and you are most welcome to relax and soak in the tub! I adore children and have quite a few old toys, games, crafts, etc. for all ages. Keep yourselves and your family entertained with books, board games & jigsaw puzzles. And what child doesn't love running through the garden, collecting fresh eggs, holding Handsome the turtle, pats & kisses from Rango the little dog? I'm a home-owner of close to 25 years, I'm quite house-proud, but  I'm adaptable as-well. My home is fun, interesting, and personal, filled with an eclectic mix of paintings, art, and objects collected from my travels. You won't find sterile white walls or a pristine anonymous hotel here! There is a large deck to relax & unwind, with views to Seacliff beach and stunning sunsets. Laze in the hammock, play a game of darts or relax worth a glass of wine.  There is a TV and sofa on the deck also. (Little people can eat, run, play, and jump on the outdoor sofa!, though they definitely need to be supervised in this area) There is also a lovely outdoor area out the back with BBQ & swimming pool to enjoy in summer. Explore walking & bicycle trails through the adjacent Glenthorne National  Park Enjoy seasonal home-grown fruit, veggies, and herbs when available. The kitchen is well equipped with a retro touch, and you are most welcome to help yourself to what you need. Help yourself to breakfast - Toast & homemade jam or marmalade and tea & fresh coffee! Eggs when the ladies are behaving and freshly squeezed Orange juice in winter Please make yourselves comfortable, make use of the kitchen, lounge, pool & other facilities. You are most welcome to use the wash machine to do your laundry, though please be conservative. The same goes with power and water. Pease be sensible with water usage and keep your showers to a minimum. Please turn the lights out when you're not using them when you go to sleep. There is a wood fireplace in the lounge. The bedrooms do not contain heating, though I'm happy to provide you with extra blankets.  Whilst I encourage guests to be independent, I am more than happy to share recommendations & advice, just ask! 😁👍🏽 Guest access *Enjoy all aspects of the house except my private bedroom, personal bathroom & office. *Please be aware that there is a private fully-self contained Granny-flat beneath the house. I have a long-term quiet tenant residing there whom keeps to herself. The adjacent car park and small courtyard space are also reserved for this tenant. *The Caretaker- There is another dwelling at the very rear of the property, housing a young gentleman who has been living there for some time as well. *The downstairs garage is locked though please ask if you require to borrow any tools. During your stay I am home most of the days, generally busy around the house and in the garden. Respectful of privacy, I'll give you the space you need. Though I'll also be happy to provide local knowledge and advice, please just ask. I am widely travelled, love cooking a great meal, and am often happy to share a drink and conversation. ***I do plan on being away for some of the time over Christmas and January. I should have more idea of the dates and be able to let you know upon booking.
