Corkins Lodge - Tipton Cabin

Your own private mountain wilderness retreat awaits at Corkins Lodge in northern New Mexico near Chama. Our cabins have a full kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, coffee and tea, sink, stove/oven, plates, dishes, cups, silverware, pots/pans, utensils, and more. The cabins each have a private outdoor patio with a gas grill, stocked wood-burning stove or fireplace, comfortable bedding, bathrooms with amenities, free parking, and free high-speed WiFi internet from Starlink. The space Enjoy spectacular hiking and winter sports on 750 acres at our private wilderness retreat. Enjoy fishing in our trout-stocked pond or private fly fishing on the Brazos River. We have a heated outdoor swimming pool and a game room that are open seasonally, a children’s playground, a bocce ball court, a tether ball, and more. There are many hiking trails on-site to enjoy the beautiful New Mexico mountain scenery from our backyard. Discover our study cabin and tree house on the hikes. Feel secluded as you will only share the resort with 9 other cabins, and our property is not open to the public for day guests. No pets are allowed to protect the wildlife. Guest access You will stay in your own private cabin and have free outdoor parking near your cabin. We are located near Tierra Amarilla, NM. The closest major airports are in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. All of our guests arrive to us via vehicle. Driving times: 25 minutes to Chama, NM, 1 hour 20 minutes to Pagosa Springs, CO, 1 hour 40 minutes to Ojo Caliente, NM, 2 hours to Taos, NM, 2 hours to Santa Fe, NM, 3 hours to Albuquerque, NM. Other things to note Corkins Lodge is a wilderness retreat, so we DO NOT ALLOW PETS to protect the wildlife. Our guests bring their own groceries to cook their meals. Restaurants are available 25 minutes away in Chama, NM. Our kitchens do not have cooking oil, spices, or aluminum foil. We ask that you do not feed the wildlife and secure all food and garbage so they don’t attract bears. Corkins Lodge is a high-altitude destination located approximately 8,300 ft. above sea level. Check-out is at 11:00 am sharp. Due to limited space and incoming guests, you are expected to kindly remove your car from the property at check-out time. Please be aware that leaving dirty dishes will result in a $50 charge to your credit card.
