Set along a peaceful, no-through country lane, the cottage is within easy reach of the picturesque beaches of Looe and Seaton. Discover the delights of Fowey, Plymouth, and the Eden Project, all within 30 minutes. North Cornwall is reachable within the hour. The space Swallows Rest has been extensively renovated to a high standard, providing generously proportioned living space throughout the cottage. Upon entering, you'll find an open-plan kitchen and dining area, fully equipped with kitchen accessories, an induction oven, dishwasher, and washing machine. The family dining table seats six, overlooking French doors that open onto the courtyard and garden. From the dining room, step into the spacious living room, furnished with a large leather suite, a two-seater sofa, and a chair—perfect for unwinding in the evening while watching the 50-inch smart TV (with personal log-ins for your own apps). A selection of books, a deck of cards, and a small array of board games are also available. The cottage offers good broadband coverage throughout, allowing you to connect your smart devices. On the first floor, a large master bedroom awaits with with views of the garden and countryside- a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom featuring a large dual-power shower and walk in wardrobe makes it feel home from home all in 1 space. Along the landing, you'll find a double room with a king-size bed, desk, and clothes hanger and spacious a single room with a single bed and cabinet. A large family bathroom with a full-size bath and walk-in dual-power shower is perfect for the end of the day unwind. The cottage is fully heated with thermostat-controlled underfloor heating throughout the ground floor, radiators in each bedroom, and towel rails in the bathroom/en-suite. Outside, a pretty courtyard area with a six-seater garden table captures the morning sun perfectly for your breakfast tea or coffee. The enclosed grassed area ensures your privacy. There is a private parking space for one car, with additional parking available in the farmyard upon request. Nestled in a relaxing and peaceful location yet close to all amenities of Looe within 10 minutes drive, the cottage offers the perfect retreat to listen to the countryside sounds and, at night, enjoy the dark skies of Cornwall with twinkling stars. Guest access Whole property- there is space for 1 car at the cottage. If an additional car park space is required, we can open up our farmyard upon request. Other things to note While we don't provide travel cots, the master bedroom is spacious enough for parents and babies Please feel free to bring your own travel cot- the master bedroom has a spacious area that is big enough for a cot and gives a sense of 2 separate rooms and space for parents and children. Note that there are no stair gates at the property. We welcome dogs (up to 2) and our garden is secure to the best of our knowledge. However, neighbouring pets, including cats and dogs, may pique your dog's curiosity! We kindly ask that dogs are not left unattended in the cottage unless they are in a crate.
