Peaceful Farm Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Only 8 kms from Goomalling but it feels like 100kms from anywhere. This 2 bedroom cottage located on 250 acres and fully self contained (porta cot also available). Ample parking, no neighbours (the owners live on the property 150 metres to the west). Plenty of room to explore, amazing sunsets, and the only sounds are the birds. A lovely deck to view the open landscape. A perfect location to explore the surrounding countryside. The space The cottage is 1950’s built. Surrounded by gardens with a trampoline and sand pit out the back. The main bedroom has stunning north views and consists of a QS bed and wardrobe. The 2nd bedroom consists of 2 single beds. The Lounge has a tv and large comfy lounge suite. Plenty of books to read and DVD’s to play. A big bath and shower are situated in the bathroom. Fresh fruit from our orchard, eggs from our girls are available in season. We are a working farm and if available, are happy to show guests the delights of country living, whether it is helping draft sheep, rolling out fencing or exploring the farm in the ATV. Please note we have a very friendly border collie (Bess) who loves to greet our guests, if you are not a dog person, just tell her to “ go home” and she should obey (most times) she is getting a bit portly with guests feeding her, so please keep this to a minimum. Guest access The cottage and surrounding gardens are available to the guests. There is a native rock ridge behind the house for exploring. If you bring bikes (only mountain bikes as the tracks are dirt) you may explore the rest of the property, but please be mindful to close any gates you open! Registration Details STRA6460S06DN7BQ
