Guest access Just a two block walk to main Street for coffee, restaurants, breweries 1.2 miles to grocery store & more restaurants and shopping Museums, wineries, breweries, organic farms, skiing, nature trails, theme parks, all within a 10 miles radius. Enjoy an array of local activities that Orange County has to offer all year round. Close drive to Warwick, Sugar Loaf Arts Community, Storm King, Sterling Forest, Woodbury Commons, Spiritual centers, West Point, Drive in theaters, and the entire Hudson Valley. We recommend guests have a car if planning to explore attractions in the region. Guests looking to relax at the house can do without one. Walking into the village is just a few minute walk. A bike for the trails would be a nice treat. Uber is also available and New Jersey transit is a quick commute from the city, Harriman station is just 15 minutes from the house. Pool is usually open mid May - September. Other things to note Harmony House has a rich history as home to Hambletonian 10, also known as Rysdyk's Hambletonian, one of the most famous racehorses in history, who fathered 95% of standard bred racehorses. This property was built by Rysdyk for himself and Hambletonian. The Chester public high school mascot is also Hambletonian.
