Description
It's a grade II* listed 16th-century Sussex Longhouse, split into two dwellings. You can see the South Downs from your pillow in the master bedroom. A quintessential English village: deep countryside but in easy reach of London, and Brighton just over the hill. It's idyllic. Ideal for couples or families. The space The space It's a historic building, deceptively large but with the original 16th-century oak beam low ceilings in one part of the house. It was doubled in size in the 80s to include a full height glazed conservatory which floods the southern aspect with light. Large kitchen extension with full-width bifold doors opening out onto the patio with a stunning view of the hills, and a cool built-in barbeque. It's quaint and quirky but very well appointed, comfortable and commodious at the same time. Our neighbours are in the front part of the building. Wifi, washer and dryer, dishwasher, piano and assorted TV screens are all available. It is a quiet and sleepy village, and we must emphasise – no loud noise.. Their is a resident cat in the home. Other things to note Dogs are welcome. They love it. But we also have a cat who will be there when you are, so we have to trust you that your dog is going to behave itself. There is a cat flap so the cat comes and goes and a self-dispensing feeder but she loves attention.
