This rustic, romantically cozy, 30 foot yurt with skylight sets among Pinyon-Junipers at the end of a driveway on a Horse Ranch. Quiet and private with a Flagstone patio. Horses and resident deer often wander by. Coyotes sing at night. 2 miles from historic Mancos where artists, ranchers and outdoor enthusiasts gather. Look for solitude or adventure in the nearby San Juan NF or Red Rock Desert Canyons. 6 miles to Mesa Verde National Park's entrance. Glamping at its best. Dogs allowed with fee. The space The yurt is comfortably private lying beyond the main house at the end of the driveway. A lovely flagstone patio provides an entrance bordered by flowers and vines. There is room to park your vehicle in front. A 220v/50amp EV 4-prong charging outlet is provided in front of the barn. Inside the yurt the great room includes living area, dining area, sleeping area, and a kitchenette equipped with all the basics including running cold water, a stovetop and refrigerator. Electricity is provided. Linens are provided for the queen bed and bunk bed with a double futon below and single mattress above. Conveniently nearby you will find the heated outdoor shower behind a bamboo privacy screen and a well serviced porta-John. A woodstove provides heat In the colder seasons. Fans help circulate a breeze in summer. This is a quiet property, however, there will be occasional noise associated with a working horse ranch operation. And the owners are at the nearby barn at least twice a day to tend the horses. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but must be leashed when walking about the property because of horses, deer and other wildlife. Guest access You are welcome to walk about the property. There are trails leading down each side of the Ridge. Please do not enter horse corrals or other buildings on the property. Other things to note The owners are a quiet couple that occupy the main house year round.
