Y Stabl. Beautifully converted stables in N Wales.

This converted stable block is situated on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park making it an ideal base from which to explore the wonderful surroundings. A stone's throw from Zip World and a short walk from the Glyderau, Y Stabl is also an ideal base for those with an adventurous spirit. The mountain scrambles of the Ogwen Valley, rock climbs of the Llanberis Pass, the mountain bike trails of the Gwydir Forest and the beaches of Anglesey and the Llyn are all easily accessible by short drives. The space Y Stabl is a beautifully converted former stable block complete with a kitchen, bathroom, dining and living area and king sized bed. The sofa bed can be used to allow four guests to stay and a partition can separate the main space in two. Although small and cozy the skylights and windows create an interior that also feels spacious and airy. Guest access Y Stabl is in the back garden of one of the 19th century stone cottages built to house the workers from the nearby Penrhyn Quarry, now lived in by ourselves, and has shared access to that garden. In addition to the well maintained area outside the stable there is a half acre of wilder land in which saplings have been planted to develop a woodland area of native trees, and guests are free to explore that as well. Other things to note The garden is shared with my partner and myself who live in the main house. Plus our cat Moishe.
