Au Chant des Oiseaux**** (In the Song of the Birds)

The farmhouse in its green setting at the foot of the Vosges will offer you tranquility, friendly moments, walks/hikes and 4-season nature activities for young and old. Designed for 6 people (+1 baby), the Chant des Oiseaux is intended to disconnect from everyday life, but reconnect with people and nature... so comfort (4*), but no wifi; games, books, DVDs, birds to feed, evenings by the fire or on the terrace around a drink to share games, memories of the day... a simple idea of happiness! The space REST: The farmhouse is equipped with 6 beds (4 adults and 2 children). There is a dormitory with 2 single beds and a baby bed (60 x 130, i.e. baby to about 4 years old), a 140 x 190 bed in one of the bedrooms (upstairs) and a 160 x 200 bed in the other (ground floor). Bed linen provided. Duvets and blankets available. Possibility of booking for 2 additional adults in single beds (6 adults in total). PMR ACCESS: The accommodation is accessible and usable on one level, but the entrance is only possible for a narrow wheelchair (access door opening: 60 cm). BABY EQUIPMENT and +: available behind the bathroom door (in the niche) 1 high chair, 2 deckchairs, a bathtub, a small potty, a changing mat, a booster seat, plastic dishes. Small inflatable boat (+ inflator and wooden mat to prevent it from bursting if used as a small pool... under the responsibility of the adults present!) Indoor and indoor games (all ages), DVDs and books (all ages too) are available for bad weather days and evenings. MEALS: The kitchen is fully equipped and appliances for friendly meals are available on request (stone grill, plancha, raclette, crepe maker, Savoyard fondue). The fireplace garden furniture can be placed outside (as well as 5 sun loungers and lanterns stored on the living room shelf) to relax or for aperitifs in the sun. A dining table is also available for outdoor lunches and dinners (+ parasol). To be replaced in the shelter or under tarpaulin after use of course! CLEANING: The cleaning price includes cleaning (+ Covid disinfection) of the accommodation + washing/ironing of sheets and towels (provided) + dishwashing and dishwasher products and hygiene products (soap, shampoo and conditioner). Please make sure to clean the oven and BBQ after use and to replace the BBQ inside (ashes from the stove and BBQ to be emptied), as well as to return the moved items to their original place. Thank you! :) HELP THE PLANET: We strongly encourage the recycling of waste (sorting bin in the kitchen; more selective sorting and disposal done by us, but place the bins in the entrance on the day of departure; put the glass aside / bin for composter under sink to be disposed of in the composter next to the woodshed: do not put citrus and avocado skins there please), as well as the reasoned and reasonable use of heating and water. The crowing of the rooster, the bells of the cows, the neighing of the ponies and horses and the passage of sometimes unexpected guests (but at home too!) are part of the natural environment of the Chant des Oiseaux and must be savored (especially if you are lucky enough to surprise the wandering - more or less fast! - of some feathered, furry or shelled inhabitants...) Other things to note Please confirm your arrival by text or phone 1h/1h30 before arriving and your checkout time the day before departure. The keys are to be handed over at the end of the stay, even if you suddenly decide to leave earlier (let me know). Check that everything that has been used has been returned to its original place (dishwasher emptied) and that the games have been returned to their boxes in full. Top sheets and duvet covers are to be placed on the bed or in the baskets on the day of departure.
