Beautiful Victorian in a quiet location! If you like to walk, the home is in a great neighborhood. Located on a quiet cobblestone street, a state historic site is just around the corner. Walking distance to the local co-op and our vibrant downtown. Main floor bedroom is off the Livingroom and has an ensuite 3/4 bath. There is an allocated office, should there be need of one, with high-speed internet. 2nd room available, upon request. If you love old homes ... The space This spacious Italianate has over 5000 square feet, which means that even with the owners at home, you will have plenty of room to wander and to enjoy the spaces in the house. If you wish to entertain while you are here, we do ask that you communicate this to us ahead of time. Events such as weddings, bridal or baby showers are available, but will need coordination and additional fees in advance. The home is in a quiet neighborhood centrally located for accessibility to anything you need to do in the cities of Bloomington or Normal. The outdoor spaces are delightful in nice or chilly weather (blankets are available). The fireplace is getting more attractive by the day. We love the chilly weather! Guest access The main floor of the house has a Family Room, Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room, Piano Studio and your bedroom. All of this space is available for your use. Outside, there is a fenced-in yard with gardens and a lovely patio with a grill that can be made available. The owners also are the proud owners of some lovely hens, which means fresh eggs, should you desire. The porch is especially attractive at this time of year - a lovely space for a glass of wine in the evening or coffee/tea in the morning. Please, come to the front door when you arrive. If you will be out and about and need the code for the side door, that is available once you settle in. Have need of doing some laundry, just let us know. During your stay Amy works from home and is available for your needs throughout the day, as needed. Breakfast is also available. Other things to note Finnegan, our Boxer mix is 4 years old and loves people. Gallagher, the grey cat, is also curious and somewhat friendly. Unfortunately, the dear thing thinks he wants to be an outside cat. Definitely, discourage this tendency, please. Midnight is our black female cat. And then, there's Mac, a long-haired beauty who is extremely shy. You are not likely to see him.
