Daffodil the Lorry

Set in a private glamping area, Daffodil blends together a 1980 DAF T244 ex military lorry with a conventional caravan. The conversion was filmed as part of George Clarke's Amazing Spaces in Series 13 in 2024. The space Daffodil boasts lovely views over open country side from its own private decked area with ample seating. On a lower patio there is also a small seating area and wood fired hot tub. Once inside, there is a bright and airy living area with U shaped seating which you can convert into a large sleeping area at night time. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, hob, fridge, kettle and toaster. There is a smart tv as well as board games and books for your enjoyment. We also have vintage bikes available to borrow at your own risk. The bathroom is of a good size and has a walk in shower, toilet and sink. The lorry is parked and is not available to be driven. Please note that as this is a caravan conversion you are fully responsible for emptying and cleaning the toilet cassette both during and/or at the end of your visit. There is an elsan point located nearby and we can show you how to do this, if it is not cleaned and emptied at the end of your stay, there will be an additional cleaning fee liable. Guest access Guest have full and sole use of Daffodil and the raised decking area during their stay. They are surrounded by gardens accessible to all guests and there is also a small and enclosed dog friendly garden at the end of the stable accommodation that you drive past on your way in. Daffodil now also have her very own wood fired hot tub. This can be pre-lit ready for your arrival at an additional charge. Other things to note There are steps up to this property
