Perfect Lake Tahoe getaway! Enjoy views of the lake from the kitchen, dining, living room, and deck. 4 bedrooms, one of which is a bunk room with queen sized futon. Back yard is fully fenced in and has lots of mature trees. Best private sandy beach on the lake with swim platforms and sand volleyball court. West shore is the most secluded stretch on the lake but has great local pizza, deli, and market 5 minutes away. Only 10 minutes to world class Emerald Bay, DL Bliss, and Eagle Falls. The space There are two private beaches in our HOA: north and south. The north is about an 8 minute walk and the south is a 25 minute walk but since we usually bring so much gear to the beach, we always drive (umbrella, chairs, sand toys for kids, etc). We provide all the gear you need to have an awesome time at the beach: beach blanket, umbrella, 4 beach chairs, sand toys, kids kayak (100 lb limit), life jackets, and a sweet stand up paddle board (Tahoe SUP). The paddle board and the kayak live on the racks on the south beach so you do not have to load them in your car. If you plan on using the SUP and/or kayak you will need to sign a waiver which contains some basic water safety info. There is an additional nominal fee for using the SUP and/or kayaks due at the time you request the waiver. The house is also very kid friendly. There is a sweet train table, puzzles, board games, magna-tiles, tea set, Duplos, and a cool bunk room /play room. The house has a dedicated android phone with Sonos sound system upstairs. The backyard has lots of mature trees and a little redwood grove. Our kids love it back there and it is fully fenced in so even our 2 year old can explore safely to his hearts content. There are also 4-5 steel Tonka construction trucks that live in the yard for kids to enjoy. The neighborhood is a small, steep loop (no through traffic) which is a great little walk in the morning with stunning lake views. The hot tub in the pictures is temporarily out of service, sorry for any inconvenience! Other things to note Please note that El Dorado County requires 10% Transient Occupancy Tax of the total amount paid for accomodations. Airbnb does not have a provision for charging this through the listing and indicates that hosts must request this tax to be paid upon check-in. From Airbnb: "As an Airbnb host, if you determine that you need to collect occupancy tax, you can collect Occupancy Taxes by asking your guests to pay it in person or through the Resolution Center after they check in. In some locations, like Amsterdam, Portland and San Francisco, Airbnb automatically collects occupancy tax from guests and sends it to the tax authority on hosts’ behalf. For these areas, Occupancy Tax amounts will appear as a line item on your listing’s public page, and you should not collect taxes separately for those jurisdictions."
