Cheerful Cabin on Lake Chetac

Bring your whole family to the lake where this cozy cottage awaits you. This newer home boasts 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. It is an open concept home located on Lake Chetac that covers over 2,000 acres. With a depth of up to 35 feet, you can fish for bluegill, crappie, perch, bass, & walleye. We have a private dock available where you can dock your boat and a public boat launch right around the corner. ** Dock goes in the water at the end of April and is pulled out mid September ** The space The home is an open concept with sunset views of the Lake. It has 3 bedrooms along with 2 full bathrooms. First bedroom has a King size bed. Second has a queen size bed. Third bedroom has a twin bed along with a queen size bed. The living room space has 2 couches with one being the size of a twin bed. One bathroom has a full tub and shower while the second bathroom has just a shower. Towels and linens are provided for your stay. There is a washer and dryer on premises. This home is utilized as our second home and is set up as such. The home is located 30 miles (40 min) from Hayward WI. We are located 25 miles (35 min) from Rice Lake WI. Guest access Snowmobile or UTV/ATV right from the home to some of the most amazing trails in the Midwest. The lake offers year round fishing, along with 5 bars and restaurants located on the lake. The lake also has a sandbar that is great for parking a boat and hanging out on a warm summers day. We also have lots of lake toys that are available for you to use during your stay. Additionally, there is a boat launch right around the corner from the house. Our dock has space to tie up your boat to if you so choose. Other things to note There is a small sandy area down by the dock that is perfect for kiddos to play and wade in the water. The depth near the end of the dock is approx 4 ft deep. Additionally, we have a swing, tetherball, and trampoline on the property. If the mood strikes there is also a fire pit with outdoor seating. We have lots of water floats, a giant lily pad, paddle board, and a canoe all for your enjoyment. The dock is seasonal, generally available early May until mid September depending on the weather. Between those time it is removed as the lake is often frozen or in the freezing process. Once the lake is frozen the ice fishing is phenomenal. Bring your ices skates or hockey sticks and have a blast! We do provide sound machines for your use in each bedroom.
