Goldens on the Lake

Escape to our tranquil lake house, nestled among towering oak trees and overlooking the clear waters of Long Lake. This charming getaway is perfect for families, couples, or solo retreats. If you are searching for the perfect relaxing getaway, look no further than Goldens on the Lake! The space At Goldens on the Lake you will find the following available to you and your guests for a calming atmosphere: Master Bedroom: Furnished with a king bed, large closet, and master bathroom for that extra needed privacy. Bedroom #2: You will find a spacious area with a twin over a full size bunk bed and additional closet space. Bedroom #3: Located on the lower level, you will find a quiet and private area furnished with a queen size bed, and tall dresser for extra storage. Basement: Furnished with a queen size futon, small bar, and smart TV with Nintendo gaming system. This area also has the added luxury of a walkout entry/exit to get you directly to and from the lake. The living area is equipped with a warming stone gas fireplace, lake views, and a smart TV for those relaxing evenings on the queen size sleeper sofa. Bathroom #2: Located off of the living area you will find another bathroom with a roomy standup shower. Kitchen: Fully equipped with modern appliances and a luxurious coffee bar to get your morning started off on the right foot. Available to you: Coffee, espresso, tea, hot chocolate, you name it! Dining Area/Snack Bar: The dining area has seating available 6-7 people and the snack bar area is furnished with 4 bar stools. This area allows for you and your guests to spread out for comfort but still be close enough for meaningful conversation over great food and drinks. Office: Located near the snack bar guests will find a perfectly situated office desk with endless view of the lake. Here a remote worker can focus on work while enjoying the views of soaring bald eagles and hear the relaxing sounds of the local loons. A large deck adds additional views of the lake for picturesque sunset dinners, BBQs, or a peaceful morning coffee. At lake level guests will find a private dock for fishing, kayaking, or boat tie-up. Multiple species of fish are found in the lake and are just a cast or two away. Ask your host for tips and tricks for landing Largemouth Bass! Also available is a relaxing fire pit area where everyone can sit and make s'mores while enjoying the relaxing night sky of the north. From the dock guests can enjoy private lake access where endless water activities can be enjoyed. A lifeguard is not on duty. Please swim at your own risk and supervise minors at all times. House Rules: 1. No smoking/vaping. 2. Dogs are welcome ($50 per dog/per stay/limit of 2) Waste bags are provided. Failure to clean up after your dog will result in an additional $50 fee being charged. Please keep all dogs leashed when not inside. 3. No parties/events. No exceptions. A welcome book is provided to guests with several recommendations on things to do, places to eat and drink, along with a more thorough explanation of check in/out procedures and the house rules. No Guest access The entire house is usable for you and your guests, but please be mindful of the labeled spaces that are for the host and cleaners only. A barn is located directly across from the house for additional parking spaces. Also, our neighbors are great people, please respect their peace and space as well. Other things to note Lakeside Dock: The dock is typically in from Spring into Fall. Weather permitting. Please ask if you have concerns of the dock being available for your stay.
