Gulf Palms Cottage....walking distance to beach!

Come enjoy not only a vacation but a way of life on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The Gulf Palms Cottage is located on a quiet and safe street in Long Beach just three blocks from the beach and harbor. With huge Live Oaks, the balmy sea breezes and plenty of outdoor space the cottage is situated in the center of everything the Coast has to offer. Our comfortable 3 bedroom, 1 ½ bath cottage is just moments from great restaurants such as Steve’s Marina, Bulls, Harbor View Café and Darwell’s. The space The cottage itself is one of the few original styles of cottages that use to dot the coast line. The screened-in front porch, the oyster shell driveway (which is now crushed cement), the hundred year old Live Oak tree that sits on our property next door, the size of the cottage, etc, etc. are all exactly the way cottages along the MS Coast were built in the 20s to 50s. Our cottage was rebuilt back to it’s original state after Hurricane Katrina (with the exception of an added on bedroom and laundry room). The cottage had upwards to 6 feet of water during Hurricane Katrina…that is a remarkable amount given the distance to the gulf shore. Guest access Guests do not have to check in with anyone, simply use your access code provided at the time of booking then make yourself at home. Unless you have questions or some issue during your visit you will not be disturbed Other things to note ONE PET ONLY ALLOWED, UNDER 35 LBS. MUST PAY PET FEE Grocery stores and Walmart are a few minutes’ drive with Edgewater Mall , Premium Outlet Mall, Crossroads Mall and numerous boutiques all less than 20 minutes from the cottage. For those that desire more adventure there are several outstanding day trips within an hour from the cottage………New Orleans, Mobile, Ship Island and scores of historical and interesting destinations around the area.
