A quirky and homely Victorian townhouse with 4 ample sized bedrooms, outside garden and open plan kitchen and living area. In a fantastic central location of lively St. Clements Street. A 5 minute walk from Oxford city centre and lively Cowley Road. Beautiful surroundings with an abundance of pubs, eateries and quirky shops. Great bus links with coaches to London and all airports stopping right outside the front door! The space A fantastically located modern Victorian building spread over four floors, with 4 unique bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and living area on the basement floor that leads out to the decked garden. We enjoy numerous restaurants and pubs on our St. Clement Street doorstep, as well as the trendy Cowley Road just a short walk away where you can find all sorts of eateries, from Jamaican food to Lebanese, Italian, Indian, you name it. St Clements Street itself has a great Thai restaurant, a Cous Cous place, a Pizzeria and a new Cocktail bar. The bedrooms are all doubles with wardrobes and bedside tables and are comfortably sized. There are two bathroom each with a shower with a decent and large shower head and the essential included i.e. shampoo/conditioner. Walking into town takes a little over 5 minutes with a pleasant walk over Magdalen Bridge and Magdelen College. South Downs, the green, is opposite and host to events such as fairs and food festivals. There are also bus stops 50m from the house that take you into town and also London and its airports. For a tourist fix, a short 10 minute walk will get you to Oxford's historical city centre as well as our new Westgate shopping mall for some fantastic retail therapy. The railway station is at the furthest end of town and takes 30 minutes. A Sainsbury's local is on the street for any groceries, with a larger Tesco's less than 10 minutes walk away on Cowley Road. Towels are provided and the kitchen is equipped with a cooker, oven, microwave, toaster and fridge freezer. Cooking utensils are provided and the kitchen also holds the washer/dryer. There is also central heating and wifi. What better way to spend your time in the heart of Oxford than in a traditional Victorian Oxford home!
