You may never want to leave the house, however, there are so many sights to see and things to do in the surrounding areas. If your thing is city, culture, sport or maritime, Hobart is an easy 40 minute drive south. Wilderness adventures abound, farms, historic towns, working harbours, providores, award winning wineries and distilleries all await you. The space Welcome to your home away from home in Primrose Sands! This peaceful and comfortable retreat is perfect for a relaxing getaway, offering all the amenities you need for a memorable stay. Bedrooms: The house features a generous master bedroom with a plush queen bed, providing a restful night’s sleep. The second bedroom comes with a comfortable double bed. Both bedrooms are equipped with electric blankets, oil-filled (column) heaters, TVs and built-in robes. Living Spaces: The property has multiple heating and cooling options, including a split-system heater/air conditioner and a cozy woodfire, making it the ideal spot no matter what time of year you visit. The fully appointed kitchen is perfect for whipping up your favourite meals, with all the appliances and utensils you’ll need. Amenities: A laundry area is available, complete with a washing machine and dryer for your convenience. Outside, enjoy the beautiful water views from the balcony, or relax in the secure and private garden oasis. A gas BBQ is available for guests to use. An undercover carport provides parking for two vehicles. The property is serviced by tank water. Although filtered and safe to drink, you may wish to bring bottled water for your stay. Electric Vehicles (EVs) are not able to be charged at the house however, there are a number of EV charging stations in nearby Dunalley and Sorell. Guest access The house and beautifully maintained grounds are available for guests to enjoy. Please note the garage and garden sheds are not accessible for guests. Other things to note Primrose Sands is a hamlet. A General Store with petrol is available and a small RSL Club with meals available select nights. Sorell (approx 20 mins drive) is nearby so you can secure necessary supplies for your stay. This township has Coles, Woolworths and health and medical services available as well as service stations. Both Coles and Woolworths provide delivery services to Primrose Sands should you need them. Sorell also offers some dining options with fast food, cafe and pub meals. A shorter distance from the house is the village of Dodges Ferry. A locals space, this offers the Dodges Ferry Hotel (meals, entertainment and bottle shop), medical practice, chemist, butcher, bakery, service station and well appointed Independent Supermarket (Hill Street Grocer). In the other direction, a short drive to Dunalley offers a bakery, cafe, fish market with fresh fish and chips and the Dunalley Hotel (good meal and entertainment options).
