Description
Escape to the Land of Enchantment in our beautifully renovated 1976 Airstream, where vintage charm meets modern comfort. Bordering a Gila National Forest trail system, this unique retreat invites you to unwind and reconnect with your dreams. Discover beautiful views and high desert trails just a short walk away. Whether you’re exploring the outdoors, or relaxing under a starry sky, the Dream Stream offers a serene getaway with all the amenities you need. Your peaceful escape is waiting. The space The DreamStream is one of three rentals located on five acres, along with the primary home on the property. It is a very quiet area on a dead-end road, adjacent to a trail system for hiking, bicycling or horseback riding. The night skies offer great star-gazing. We are approximately six miles from downtown Silver City, and centrally located for several nice day trips in the area. We are in foothills at an elevation of ~6200 ft. with the Pinos Altos Range of the Gila National Forest to the north, and high desert a few miles south. Our water is potable from a community water association, but is chlorinated. A filter pitcher is provided to remedy that. Other things to note We are situated at approximately 6,200 ft elevation in high desert terrain with primarily piñon, juniper and scrub oak vegetation. Some people won’t feel a difference, but If you’re not acclimated to the elevation go easy exerting yourself until you know how your body responds. Drink plenty of water, use sun protection (even in the winter) and rest when you need to. The higher elevation also affects cooking times. Water takes longer to boil and boils at a lower temperature so cooking times may need to be increased. There is a variety of wildlife in the area. Most common on the property are deer, jack rabbits, cotton tails, squirrels and a variety of birds. Larger animals are in the area. Please keep everyone happy and healthy by observing and photographing, but refrain from feeding, or leaving food or trash out. If the neighbors’ horses come to visit, please keep them and you safe by not feeding.
