Welcome to Cameron’s Hill Cottage. A charming newly renovated 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom, large backyard freestanding house in the heart of Newcastle. Our renovated 1900s miners cottage is situated in the quiet and historic area of Cameron’s Hill Centrally located a short walk to Gregson park, Beaumont St, shops pubs, cafes, bars & restaurants. Close to Broadmedow station and public transport and 8 min drive to Newcastle’s beautiful beaches. Perfect for long term stays, families & couples in Hamilton The space This character filled cottage offers 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, well equipped kitchen and living area which opens onto a spacious outdoor deck, the deck overlooks a large inner city backyard for the guests full access. As you walk into the newly renovated home bedrooms are located to the front of the residence with the bathroom and study located further down the hallway. It then opens onto a light filled open plan air-conditioned kitchen and living space with large sliding doors which open onto the outdoor entertaining area, stairs off the deck lead to the secure and private backyard with a firepit. The backyard is also accessible from the side access-pathway and has two secure gates. Making it ideal for families, babies and couples with children and pets (upon approval) Each of the three bedrooms is thoughtfully designed to accommodate families with ceiling fans in each: the master bedroom features a comfortable queen-size bed large built robe and A/C, the the second bedroom has another queen bed and hanging and storage space. The third bedroom / study is perfect home office or alternatively a small bedroom for an additional person equipped with a futon sofa bed. The bathroom offers a refreshing twin-head shower and a relaxing bathtub making it easier for children and families. Those who love cooking will appreciate the well equiped chefs kitchen with large stone kitchen island with counter seating, stainless steel oven with 5 burner gas cooktop, large fridge freezer, matching kettle and 4 slice toaster + array of kitchen appliances for your use. Perfect for families, upon request a travel cot, highchair, baby gate, outdoor swing and slide and toys for babies and toddlers is available. The third bedroom is perfect for a baby, kids room Guest access Ample, unmetered on-street parking is available directly in front of the residence. Access into the residence is by foot with 3 steps from street level. Access into the house is via the front door. Approved bookings receive details for the key lockbox. Your approved booking grants exclusive access to the entire home during your stay. Enjoy the privacy and comfort of having the whole house and backyard all to yourselves. Other things to note Being an old miners cottage our home is well designed and efficient in the space we have available. Our compact home is best suited to small families and couples. hosting 5 adults with only 1 shared bathroom may-not be everyone’s cup of tea so please consider this As this is not occupied 100% of the time between stays and for neighborhood street surveillance, there is 1 x exterior street-facing security camera on premiss Only house-trained pets welcome upon application.
