Experience real Arctic nature and tranquility right by Varangerfjorden! Cozy house, undisturbed and quiet. Perfect for couples, bird lovers, fishermen, hikers and anyone who loves peace and fresh air. This is the perfect place to have as a base to experience the Varanger Peninsula's many sights and nature. Take in the impressions of stormy days, bright (and perhaps warm) summer nights and winter cold northern lights nights. If you are lucky, you can see both whales and sea eagles straight from the living room. Enjoy yourselves down the shore. The space This is a family house, which we use throughout the year, for fishing, gathering and hunting. We have renovated the house, little by little. The house is small and (if we say so ourselves) super cozy! We hope you take good care of it when you stay here. Downstairs there is a hallway with heating cables, bathroom with shower and washing machine, new kitchen with the most wonderful view from the dining area. The living room has large windows and exit to a simple terrace and direct and undisturbed access to the beautiful Varangerfjorden. There are two cozy bedrooms with sloping ceilings. One bedroom has a double bed and a wide single bed. There is a steep staircase from the hallway to the attic where the bedrooms are located. The outdoor area consists of a large natural plot, with direct access to the lake. The property facing the lake has several rocks, they are beautiful and unique. But be careful, they are steep and high and can be loose on the edge. The view is formidable. Here you will find peace and can let your eyes rest on the varying colors that nature, fjord and weather offer. Be careful not to go too close to the rocks. They are not secured. No open fires allowed outdoors, it is dry and the vegetation catches fire quickly. Guest access This is a house we use ourselves. Therefore, clothes are in closets and drawers. We ask you not to touch any of this. But you will find available shelves in the bathroom, kitchen and refrigerator. The freezer is private and should not be used. The chimney is under restoration and therefore the wood stove in the living room should not be used. Other things to note Handling of fish and game, including gutting, filleting, and wrapping of fish, must be done outdoors. All fishing waste must be taken down to the lake immediately and must not be left in the trash can or outside the house.
