Stunning modern architect designed lake-side property. That looks out across ''The Great Pool''. The Ski Club was built during 2023 and designed to blend into it's surrounding woodland. Set beside this ornamental lake in the grounds of a historic manor house and parkland, drive in through the gates you'll appreciate it's unique setting. Sorry, no pets. Children and infants welcome. Please provide own infant equipment. Please note, this property is lakeside. The space The Ski Club is a most unique property, situated behind a tall perimeter brick wall deep in the woods. Comprising a covered courtyard leading to open plan kitchen, dinning area and sitting room with floor to ceiling sliding windows leading onto a huge decking and lawns down to the water. Here everything is waiting for you, sun-beds, brollies, benches, 2 paddle boards (which can convert into kayaks) and row boat are all provided for your use. The watercraft are available April-Sept inclusive. This includes 'The Mallard ' our 4 metre row boat. It is a lightweight, flat-bottomed skiff dingy superb for our lake and exploring the shallow water edge and margins. 2 paddleboards are available, which can be converted into kayaks. Guests are welcome to bring their own kayaks and wetsuits and fishing equipment at any time. Wood fired hot tub and outdoor warm shower are an extra special treat after wild swimming. From the 6 person dinning table enjoy a meal and the sunset or snuggle up beside the beach log burner. Outside is a 1 km circular path ideal for walking or jogging beside the lake or in the woods. Along the way you will find the bird hide, so bring your binoculars. Resident birds include, mute swan, duck, heron, grebes, coot , moorhen and kingfisher, with many more visiting birds. The whole house and surrounding gardens and woodland are for your use and enjoyment. Guest access Entry to the property is via an App sent to guests phones prior to arrival. We also like to meet and greet our guests, just to briefly walk you through the house. But mainly to show you the wood burner on the hot tub and the paddleboards and row boat when they are on the water. Guests are required to sign a waiver/ indemnity, prior to going on the water.
