Nestled at the end of a tranquil cul-de-sac and adjacent to a serene nature preserve, you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds—access to community amenities and just a short drive to all the wonders the Poconos has to offer. Gather in the cozy living area with a TV, or take advantage of the dedicated office space for remote work. The large kitchen is ideal for cooking and entertaining, complemented by a spacious dining room that invites memorable gatherings with family and friends. This beautiful and comfortable 4BR/2BA property is located in a gated and amenity-rich community - 3 lakes (w/ a sand beach), 2 swimming pools (seasonally-available), tennis courts, basketball courts, soccer and baseball fields, volleyball courts, indoor games room (foosball, air hockey, pool table, etc), and a small but awesome convenience store named Archie’s Corner located right inside the community! Archie’s Corner is packed with all of the essentials (from subs and sandwiches, to firewood, coffee, and more) that you’ll ever need without having to leave the comfort of the gated community. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac Parking: Driveway - (5 vehicles permitted) There is no parking allowed on the street, lawn, or dirt/gravel areas. Guest access This home is located in a secure gated community. Guests will receive a gate pass for their stay, along with amenities badges that grant access to the pool, tennis courts, lakes, and more. Guests will have access to the entire home, except for the basement. To ensure a smooth experience, guests will need to sign a short-term rental lease agreement with the community 3-5 days before Check-In and follow its rules. We’ll provide the necessary paperwork after you complete your Airbnb booking. Please note that the community association will require driver's licenses and vehicle information for all guests. Kindly be aware that guests must first check in at the Penn Estates Welcome Center, located at 525 Penn Estates Dr, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301, to obtain gate passes for the duration of their stay. Please be advised that only registered guests are permitted access to the community. Daily visitors aren’t permitted for Airbnb stays. All guests must be over 25, except for children accompanied by their parents. Things to note: Like many mountain homes, there is a flight of stairs leading to the main living area. We want to ask our guests to inform us of any issues or concerns on the first day of their stay. We value open communication and believe it is the best way to promptly address and resolve any problems. We can't fix something that we do not know. ;) Enjoy your getaway! Other things to note Base price is set for 5 guests. There is extra charge of $25 per guest per night for extra guests after 5 guests up to 10 guests total – including small children. Please note that our cancellation policy is non-negotiable. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against any unexpected illness or emergencies that may arise. Pet Policy: $25 per dog, 2 Dog Max. (Rabies & Distemper vaccine required) Please do not allow dogs on beds, dining, room chairs, or furniture. Speed limit in the community is strict and enforced by security (25mph) - this is for the safety of children, pets and everyone. The community police will issue tickets if there are violations, and you will be held responsible. Quiet hours after 11pm No fireworks within the community Bedroom Linens and Bathroom Towels: We will provide clean, washed sheets and towel sets for each guest, and the beds will be made upon your arrival. Please note that bedroom linens are provided at the start of your stay but are not exchanged during your visit. A start-up set of garbage bags, toilet tissue, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap will be provided but will not be replenished during your stay. The community pool is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend ONLY (amenity badges provided at no extra charge) Please bring your own pool towels since this is not provided in the pool/lake areas. Pool Access Information Hours of operation are 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily. Amenity badges are provided for your use and must be presented to access the pool. Please keep these badges safe, as a $150 replacement fee will be charged for any lost or unreturned badges. Pool/Beach closings: Although it doesn't happen often, there are situations beyond our control—such as staff shortages or other unexpected issues—that may lead to the closure of the pool, lake, or other community amenities. In such cases, no refunds will be issued. Other: Please stay within property lines and do not trespass on neighbor properties or into the nature reserve- the yard has clear boundaries outlining the property boundary Safety Notice: Our house is situated on a slope, and the backyard is not level. For your safety, please exercise caution when walking around the back of the property. We are not responsible for any injuries that may occur in this area or any area of the home. Important Disclaimer: By renting our home, you acknowledge and accept the natural conditions of the surrounding area, including the presence of insects and wildlife such as deer, raccoons, bears, squirrels, and others throughout the year.
