The space The apartment includes a dedicated workspace with high speed WIFI and extra area for a provided blow-up mattress. The sofa also converts into a comfortable double bed, making it easy to accommodate additional guests. You’ll have a fully equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs, as well as a fenced in large backyard with a trampoline for fun and relaxation. Inside, enjoy the cozy glow of a wall-mounted electric fireplace. Conveniently located near national parks, the Indiana Dunes, Lake Michigan, a variety of museums, and just a short drive to Chicago, this space offers both comfort and adventure. The apartment is located at the rear of a single-family home with its own private entrance. It is a completely separate and fully private space—perfect for relaxing, working remotely, or simply getting away. With a lovely view of the backyard, guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoor space, including the gas fireplace and trampoline. For safety, we kindly ask that only one guest use the trampoline at a time, and that children are supervised within six feet while playing. For your convenience, we provide all the essentials, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, laundry detergent, dish soap, and more Guest access The apartment is located at the rear of the home with its own private entrance, and parking is just steps away for your convenience. Guests have access to the spacious backyard, also only a few steps from the entrance. Because the yard is shared with our family, including our dog, children, and chickens, we kindly ask that dogs remain leashed when outside. You’re welcome to use the lawn and picnic furniture to relax and enjoy the outdoor space including your own private propane fire pit. Other things to note This apartment is designed across two levels. The main level features the living room, fully equipped kitchen, and a full bathroom (with shower but no tub). The lower level, accessed by seven stairs, includes the private bedroom, closet, office area, and laundry room. The bedroom has a curtain at the door for privacy. For your convenience, baby gates, a make up mirror and extra space heater are all provided, and an ironing board is available upon request at the time of booking. The microwave is located inside the pantry. Please note that the shower has a step to enter.
