Make memories that will last a lifetime at this centrally located cottage on Rough River Lake. Enjoy your coffee from the screened deck overlooking a sunrise on the lake. Bring your boat as there is plenty of room to park in the generous driveway, with ramps just minutes away. A grill and full kitchen is yours to prepare meals after a day on the lake or other adventures. The screened porch provides the perfect outdoor dining experience. Enjoy your favorite activities with private lake access. The space The Cozy Cottage is in a rural neighborhood populated by a mixture of permanent and seasonal residents. It borders Rough River Lake and there are steps that lead to a screened viewing/observation deck and lake access. Please use caution when ascending/descending/using the stairs. Surfaces may be slippery when wet and may freeze before other surfaces. The bedroom has a queen bed with a closet for storage of your clothes and luggage and a smart TV for your favorite streaming services. The cottage features a full kitchen with a large sink, removable dish drying rack, a full refrigerator, freezer, 4-burner glass-top electric stove, oven, microwave, toaster, blender, drip coffee maker, and all the kitchenware needed to craft the perfect meal. The kitchen, dining area, and main living room are all open with a door leading to the rear deck. The smart TVs provide access to streaming apps via Roku and built-in smart apps. The sun room has a smart TV, an office desk with a computer monitor (HDMI connection/cable) and mouse pad, and a door separating it from the rest of the house for privacy. Guest access You’ll have access to the entire property minus one interior closet and exterior storage area under the outdoor patio. Other things to note Please, no smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, etc. Your trained ADA service animal is always welcome. If you will be accompanied by one, please let me know ahead of time. Please contact me first if you’d like to bring a pet. Small, house broken dogs may be permitted on a case-by-case basis and, unless crated, should not be left alone and should not at any time be permitted on beds or furniture. A moderate pet fee may apply, please be sure to include your pet in the reservation. Due to allergies, cats will not be permitted. Please do not slide furniture across the floors as it can permanently damage the hardwood flooring. Property is in Central Time Zone. Check-In/Check-Out times are based on the Eastern Time Zone. Please note that the gas fireplace in the living room is currently inoperable as gas is no longer connected or supplied. There will be a note on the fireplace as a reminder that there should not be any attempts to light or utilize it. Please note that the property does not include a washer, dryer, or dish washer. The nearest laundromat is listed in the guidebook. Please note that many of the local attractions and amenities, such as campgrounds, beaches, parks, marinas, and boat rentals, are seasonal and may be impacted by weather conditions.
