Stunning and secluded yurt stay

Olde Oak yurt sits proudly at the far eastern edge of a gloriously private and lush wildflower and hay meadow surrounded by ancient woodland. You will have the entire 5 acre site to yourself, along with any guests staying in our other three yurts. Each yurt is very well spaced apart for secluded, discrete enjoyment. The Ridgeway can be viewed to the south and offers endless walking and hiking possibilities. The space Olde Oak is a steam-bent yurt made from Norwegian oak. Inside you will find a wood-burning stove with a supply of logs and kindling, enough for a least one evening/morning. Lighting is supplied via solar lights and lanterns inside (simply pop the solar lanterns outside during the day for a re-charge). This yurt also has an oak dresser/desk, extra seating via poofs, coir flooring and a double futon (which can be set up as an additional bed). Inline with our green and eco-conscious ethos we strive to provide sustainable textiles where possible. Bedding is either organic cotton or sustainable linen. There are two very clean compositing toilets and two wonderfully spacious gas powered showers with changing rooms available for this yurt which are shared with only two other yurts. Guest access When you arrive at Botswicky the parking area is immediately to the right hand side of the entrance gate. We have wheelbarrows and a trolley to help you transport your things the short distance to the yurts. The entire site is 5 acres so there is plenty of space for peaceful, secluded and relaxing enjoyment surrounded by nature. There is also an additional 5 acres of ancient woodland/nature reserve - entering here is at your own risk Other things to note We are a Green campsite and as such we require one person per booking to join the Greener Camping Club. The cost of this is £12 per year (and is included in your booking). The benefit of this is that you support sustainable initiatives, greener camping and use of spaces and the planting of trees. You can also travel to other Green campsites with the same membership.
