Pony Express Silverleaf Retreat

This beautiful house is located on 9 acres of private property with 3 other houses it has a fenced in yard for kids to play and dogs to run. The deer creek is just a stone's throw away as well as a park for kids to play. Deer Creek Pony Express used to be a home station for the pony express route and the Oregon trail. The pony express ran from 1860 to 1861, and it ran from St. Joseph Missouri to Sacramento California. Come and enjoy this historical property. The space This house in in town but consider out of city limits. Our other airbnb is to the east of this one. They are separated by a tall wooden fence. There are a few old houses that are on the 9 acres that will be getting fixed up in the near future. We are close to a walking bike path and and deer creek. The garage can be used to store any items you don't want inside like bikes or other items if you are staying longer. The big main door on the left side does work but it's a heavy door to lift up. The propane grill in the back yard is for your use. I try and check propane everytime but I never know exactly how much is left. If it's empty please let me know and I will go fill it up right away as long as I am in town witch I most usually am unless I run to Casper or Douglas. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to reach out. There is one AC unit in the living room window this house does not have central air. If the curtains stay closed it usually stays cool. Guest access There is a sun room we usually use it for storage if needed it can be used as another room if you need more people to stay. We can put a queen air up mattress in there. It does have a door leading out to the deck so be mindfully if young kids need to stay in there. I keep both the door and screen locked at all times, but don't want kids escaping in the night. I only say 4 people because of only having two queen beds but more can stay as long as you are ok with a air up mattress and let me know ahead of time so I have it ready to go. Other things to note We do have chickens on the property that free range so if you have dogs please keep them on a leash or in the yard. You also do need to add if you are bringing a pet there is a $50.00 fee per stay that will be added. If you do not add it you will be charged for your pet upon checkout.
