Charming house with a garden and direct bus connection to Palexpo (no transfer required). The bus stop is 70 meters from the house. Located 25 minutes from the city center, the house is surrounded by a large, well-maintained, and peaceful garden with two terraces. It's the perfect place to calme down and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The space The house belongs to my parents, but they have recently moved out. Of my parents' two sons, I am the one who takes care of renting the house. On the first floor of our house there are 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All bedrooms offer a beautiful view of our garden or the surrounding nature and the mountains in the distance. As can be seen in the pictures, all rooms have a bed with a comfortable semi-firm mattress. Bed linen and hand and bath towels are provided. One room is furnished with 2 beds & matrasses that can be set together), the other three rooms each have a single bed. One of the bathrooms has a bathtub, the other has a shower. On the ground floor there is a large entrance area. The living room is spacious and divided into three areas: a dining area, a sofa area with a fireplace and a work area. There is also a fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor and a small toilet. The house also has a basement. There you will find the laundry room with washing machine and dryer for use as well as an area for hanging up laundry. However, there are two rooms in the basement that are not accessible. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. Of course, the large garden is also part of the rental area. In the garden there are two tables, numerous garden chairs, two deck chairs, a bench and a pond with goldfish and frogs. About 100 meters from the house, nature begins - fields, forests and natural ponds, ideal for walks, relaxation or jogging, which I do regularly myself. If you are sporty and enjoy hiking, I recommend climbing the mountain Mont Salève, from where you have a wonderful view of the entire canton Geneva and Mont Blanc. The start of the hiking trail is about 2 kilometers from our house. Guest access If you arrive by car, there are two parking spaces on our property - a covered garage and an open parking space. If you are travelling by public transport, the bus stop "Veyrier, Les Quibières" is only 80 metres from the house. Bus line 8 takes you directly to the city centre (15 minutes) and to the Cornavin main station (25 minutes), as well as to all international organisations (UN, UNHCR, WTO, WIPO, WHO, ILO, IFRC, etc., in 35 minutes) and finally to Palexpo (45 minutes). Our stop is also served by bus line 41 (towards Thônex, Chêne-Bougeries, Chêne-Bourg station in 15 minutes or towards Carouge in 30 minutes). A jocker for you: I can provide all tenants with a free public transport ticket for the public transportation offered by the city of Geneva for the duration of their booking.
