Newly built in Spring 2020, this 2 bedroom plus loft home boasts one plush king sized bed/bedroom, 1 plush queen bedroom and 1 plush queen loft. There are 2 full bathrooms with excellent guest amenities. There is a hot tub with an amazing view. 25 miles from Telluride and 43 miles from Mesa Verde National Park. Incredible hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and all that nature has to offer right out the door. The space The living room is furnished with two chairs and a couch (and board games) and TV. The lower bedroom has a super comfy king bed and TV with full bathroom. Second floor has a bedroom with a plush queen bed, TV, full bathroom. The Kitchen and dining areas are on the second floor. The third floor has a loft with plush queen bed. There is well equipped kitchen and full- size washer/dryer. The property has a west facing hot tub The cabin is perfect for 3 couples or 2 couples and 2 kids- note one bed is in a lofted space. Rico itself is a spectacular old historic mining town not to be missed. Check out Rico trails alliance for your biking, hiking and cross country skiing out the door. Highly recommend a visit to the historic Enterprise bar, Rico Garden Bar, Argent (Prospector) Restarant, Rico Tacos and Fireweed Cafe for food and drinks. You are also just 28 miles to Telluride for world class skiing! And within an hour of Mesa Verde National Park, Dolores, McPhee reservoir, Canyon of the Ancients National Monument, Phil's World mountain biking and more. Rent a stand up paddle board and head to Trout Lake for some time on the water. Hike any of the several 14ers here or other amazing trails like Hope lake, Ice Lake, Island Lake and more. Great 4x4 roads all over this area. The Dolores river runs through this valley for excellent fishing. No shortage of activities within an hour of this beautiful town. Guest access Guest access: parking is directly in front of the house garage. Rico is small and everything is easy walking distance. You will be given a personalized code to enter the property. Other things to note Please note Rico does have great dining options but they can be closed during slow off season times. Telluride and Dolores also have many options! Please contact me for suggestions and more info. Rico does not have a full on grocery store! Upon booking I can give you suggestions on where to stock up~depending on direction you will be traveling. I highly suggest all guest have legit 4x4 during winter and spring months.
