Lost Woods Retreat

Welcome to your mountain escape in the Lost River Valley—tucked away near Lost River State Park and a quick drive to the area’s cafés, boutiques, yoga & winter fun. The cabin is bright & airy with wall-to-wall windows overlooking woods. You’ll find a cozy fireplace & fire pit for s’mores (included in your welcome basket). Enjoy the cocktail/coffee bar and tons of personal touches. Ideal location for snow shoeing (snow shoes provided), xc skiing, and 45 mins from downhill skiing and tubing. The space Inside amenities: The cabin features an open living space and two bedrooms. One bedroom offers a queen bed and the second offers two twin beds with an extra twin mattress available in the closet for additional guests. Four guests fit comfortably—five guests is cozy but do-able especially if the 5th is a child. Guests can help themselves to items from the coffee and cocktail bar (*alcohol can be removed upon request*), as well as books, games, and records. The cabin is equipped with fast WiFi and a standing desk. Outdoor amenities: The cabin sits on 2 wooded acres and feature extensive outdoor living space that is secluded and private, including a large wraparound deck, fire pit, and hanging swings/ hammocks. The gear barn is stocked with many supplies for outdoor recreation including: bikes and biking gear, corn hole, ping pong, yoga mats, telescope, and pickle ball for the court down the road. The property can easily accommodate up to 4-5 cars and has an outlet for EV chargers. Important: 4-wheel or AWD is strongly recommended to access the home, which is situated on a steep mountain road—especially in winter. Guest access Guests are able to access the full property and grounds including the cabin and gear barn. Other things to note The host is very responsive to any messages during your stay.
