Tent in Little Current
Description
Welcome to Manitoulin Permaculture! We are an eclectic community of infectiously warm and welcoming humans that are exploring ways of living that nurture each other and the land we share. We recently created a private, lakeside "glamping" space for guests. A queen bed with linens and bedding is provided for your stay. There are shared composting toilets a short walk from the tent. The space There are volunteers from around the globe coming and going from our little corner of paradise. If you have any farm proclivities and want to help (no expectation) pull weeds, collect eggs, harvest veggies or pitch in with dinner prep, you are certainly welcome to. The plusses: - the space is beautiful and you'll have a wide open view of the gardens and the western tree lined sunset every night right from your door - the frogs will sing you to sleep The minuses: - the tent is close to the community kitchen which serves as the main meeting point for our community during dinners. You can choose your level of interaction with the others here. There is a considerable amount of wildlife on the property or passing through. You may find yourself sharing a pathway with a skunk or porcupine, encounter snakes, frogs, turtles, and toads, with many birds coming and going.
